For more information on taking a credit by exam in CGS1060c, CGS2100c, or CGS2108c please call me (Sandy Keeter) at 407-708-2431. You'll need to fill out a credit by exam form (can be picked up from counselor in "A" building), get the appropriate signatures by dropping the form off in V102, pay the fee (approx. $65) and then schedule the exam. Please make sure you include a phone number or email address on the form so that I may get in touch with you if needed. Earning a score of 70% or greater is passing. Your records would then be updated to reflect the credit for passing the applicable class (this will, however, not affect your GPA).
Each exam takes approximately 2 hours to complete and consists of 100 multiple choice questions from the material found in the applicable course's books. A description for each course, and the associated materials (books, etc) can be found in each course's syllabus (http://www2.scc-fl.edu/skeeter). You may also go to the book publisher's site (see below) to review their materials and take some practice tests.
