PSYCHOLOGY

Psychology  has been defined by most recent US textbooks as the study of behavior. Dr.Akbar of FSU defines it as the study of the whole human being.  Freud defined psychology as "the study of man's soul." Regardless of the definition, what is different about psychology, is that it focuses on the individual.

Typically I only teach two courses in psychology, Developmental Psychology and Honors General Psychology.

DEP 2004 Developmental Psychology

This course is often jokingly referred to as "the womb to the tomb" course as it examines the entire lifespan and how we change across time.

It is suitable for nursing degrees, educational degrees, psychology majors, childcare specialist and those who are curious as to how all of us developed from childhood through adulthood.
