Seminole State Economics Scholarship
A $500* scholarship will be
awarded during the spring semester to a student who demonstrates
an
aptitude in economics and a desire to continue study in economics or a
related field.
Application Requirements:

Submission of two letters of recommendation (not from full-time Seminole State economics
faculty) -
Completion of
-
at least one Seminole State course in Principles of Economics with a grade of “A”
(must be completed by the fall semester preceding the spring semester in
which the award will be presented), -
the application form below, and
-
Completion of a 1,000 word essay on the subject:

"Applying the Concepts of Economics to My Future"

Three copies of the
application should be turned into the Seminole State Social Sciences Department
Office
no later than January 31. The recipient of the award will be
announced no later than March 1.
*Final scholarship award will depend upon Foundation funds available.
