The purpose of this assignment is to use a digital camera, upload photos, and utilize Web 2.0 applications like Flickr. You may use your own digital camera or your cell phone camera. Your instructor will provide a digital camera you can use if you do not have one. All the activities in this assignment can be accomplished without spending any money!
You will submit one digital photo for the class album. Your fellow students will view and rate each photo. The highest rated photo will “win” the class photo contest. Your photo must be stored in Flickr. Therefore you will need to create a Flickr account if you don’t already have one.You can take your digital photo any time even before you have been accepted to the CGS1060 group in Flickr.
After you have been accepted to the CGS1060 group by your instructor and after you have taken your photo you are ready to add the photo to the class picture album. Your photo must be uploaded during the two weeks prior to the assignment due date.
