| I received my Associate's
degree in Liberal Studies and Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from
Kentucky State University. In 1997, I earned a Master’s degree in
Education from the University of Kentucky. In 2006, I obtained a graduate
certificate in Community College Education from and will continue my education
at the University of Central Florida.
I have been teaching Mathematics
since 1993 and came to Seminole Community College in 2003. Prior to
joining the faculty at SCC, I taught at a community college in the
bluegrass state of Kentucky. I believe that an understanding of
mathematics enhances problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Certified by the Kellogg Institute as a Developmental Education
Specialist, I am also convinced that with dedication and effort all
students can learn.
